The availability of internet services on mobile platforms, also known as ‘Mobility’, has introduced an “Always Connected” environment for global citizens who desire to consume information like never before.
An example being Weather information, which historically would be available once in 24 hours through news journals and thereafter through hourly updates on Radio and TV channels is today available every second through notifications on your mobile device.
This hunger for “Contextual Content” has bred the term IOT or Internet of Things. Global citizens not only wish to consume real time data which is personally relevant, they also demand business or work related content which enables them to take “Proactive, Intelligent & Productive” decisions.
